Home visit pet euthanasia service. Covering Tendring District and surrounding areas.
I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2003. I've worked exclusively in small animal UK practice and have lived and worked in North Essex since 2010.
Evening or weekend visits also available by special arrangement, subject to availability. My core hours are 9am - 3pm each weekday, please contact me to arrange. 07938 512 567 or lucyvet79@gmail.com. If contacted early, I can often visit the same day. Please be aware if I am with a patient or working in clinic, I may not be able to answer, but please leave a voicemail, text or email me and I will reply as soon as i'm able. Thank you. Please be aware I work in clinic on a Wednesday in term time. It's helpful if you can state your location in messages.
Prices.
Please note that all prices given for euthanasia include an injection with a sedative first. This will relax your pet and make them sleepy for the final injection. This makes them a lot less aware of their surroundings. You will be able to hold and cuddle them if you wish while you say goodbye. Equally, if you would prefer to just cuddle them whilst the sedative takes effect, and then leave for the final injection, I can assure you they will be in safe hands and treated with the utmost care and respect.
I carry a card reader or can accept cash or can also provide BACS details.
Sadly I am unable to offer credit, I am a self employed small business so am unable to sustain costs with credit.
These prices apply for the vast majority of patients. However, if you have unusual circumstances such as a particularly aggressive or difficult to handle pet, please call to discuss. These visits will incur an extra charge to reflect the longer time involved to safely sedate and handle them and the personal risk.

These prices are for a weekday visit between 9am and 3pm . Please see additional chargest below for outside of these times.
These prices include the first half hour of travel, which covers most of the Tendring, South Ipswich and North Colchester area.

Dogs up to 20 kg £170
Dogs 20-40 kg £190
Dogs 40kg + £230
Giant dogs 60kg + £270

Early evening visit 4-6 pm add £50
Evening 6-8 pm add £100
Evening 8-10 pm (if available) add £150
Weekend (if available)+ £100 before midday saturday. +£150 after midday saturday
Bank Holiday + £150
Transport to Tendring Pet Cremation £40
Visit 30-45 min away from Bradfield add £40
Visit over 45-60 min from Bradfield add £50
Weekends/bank holidays may be possible by separate arrangement only, subject to availability. Please get in touch if you require an estimate of cost.
In the event of an emergency, please contact your normal veterinary surgeon. This service is for elective, non urgent euthanasias only.
